nancy wenger - owner, The Nutty Chocolatier
I’ve had the privilege of owning and operating The Nutty Chocolatier in Downtown Huntsville for the past 27 years. Over that time, I’ve not only raised my three sons here, but also within the walls of my shop. This community — Huntsville and the surrounding area — has been incredibly supportive, and I’ve always believed in giving back wherever I can.
Joining the BIA Board is another way for me to stay engaged, contribute, and stay connected to the community that has meant so much to me.
Even after all these years, I still love walking into my shop every single day. And now, I’m also enjoying some very special time with my children, grandchildren, and a bit of travel along the way.

Rachel Hunt fell in love with downtown Huntsville over 20 years ago when she moved here to manage Pharmasave. The community quickly captured her heart, and she’s been dedicated to supporting it ever since. After 15 years on the Downtown Huntsville BIA board, Rachel became the Executive Director in September 2024, excited to continue enhancing the area, promoting local events, and fostering collaboration.

Annie Willick - bia assistant
Hi everyone! My name is Annie, and I’m excited to be joining the Downtown Huntsville BIA community. I moved here with my family five years ago, and have loved spending as much time as I can in our downtown during holidays and between semesters at school.
Having recently moved back full time, I’m excited for the opportunity to learn more about the businesses and the people that contribute to the unique character of downtown.
I’m passionate about turning moments into memories for locals and tourists alike, and love fostering a sense of community wherever I am. Looking forward to working with all of you!
